PHA Learning offers hands-on training in visual art-making for adults (18+) at all skill levels. Designed for those looking to expand their creative toolkits, our classes and workshops take place in our second floor classrooms and are led by practicing artists who are passionate about their craft and fostering dynamic learning spaces at Powerhouse Arts and beyond. 

 

PHA Learning classes and workshops are offered at tiered rates with payment plan options. These tiers reflect the direct costs to run the program, including Teaching Artist and Assistant wages, materials, and equipment. Tier 1 offers a 20% discount off of labor costs; Tier 2 covers the cost of labor; and Tier 3 fully covers the cost of labor, materials, and equipment. If you are financially able to do so, we encourage you to select the full rate and support us in continuing PHA Learning with discounted options to reduce the financial barriers to participation in the arts.

The next season of PHA Learning will run in October and November, with registration opening on September 1st, 2026.
