Description

This figure drawing workshop covers the basics of observational drawing from life. Students learn to draw figures with a paint brush while referencing live models present in class. The instructor will demonstrate drawings that focus on quick observations and interpretations. Students will focus on speed, proportion and compositional layouts for both long and short poses. Students are encouraged to develop individual voices and expand their visual language through experimenting with shapes, structures, lines and colors in brush work.
